I need some help writing a formal letter
I recieved a few traffic violations in Oakland and the time has come fro me to pay them. The lady that I talked to on the phone said that if I write the Traffic Commissioner a letter he may reduce the fine. Can anyone recommend a web site or give any advice on what I should say in the letter? Any help is greatly appreciated!

My friend was able to make an appointment to see the traffic guy in person. He explained the situation of the speeding ticket (newly reduced zone just that morning with no warning signs) and the ticket was reduced in fine, and no license points removed.
Did some web searching, but could only find sites that offered help for traffick tickets on a fee for service basis. |

Thanks Tirian. I searched the web and found the same fee based services. Unfortunately I cannot meet the guy beacuse Im out of the state now, so I'll have to depend on the letter.
