PVC makes great didgeridoo's too, especialy if you haven't played one and want to learn.
Just make one side of de pvc-pipe smaller with wax (the kind that gets hard after time). You can make the outside of the pipe more real with "wood-in-a-tube" and then paint it, to give it a better apereance. Learning to play didg on a pvc didg is easier, but they variety of sounds are way more limited.

Amerika by Franz Kafka “As Karl Rossman, a poor boy of sixteen who had been packed off to America by his parents because a servant girl had seduced him and got herself a child by him, stood on the liner slowly entering the harbour of New York, a sudden burst of sunshine seemed to illumine the Statue of Liberty, so that he saw it in a new light, although he had sighted it long before. The arm with the sword rose up as if newly stretched aloft, and round the figure blew the free winds of heaven.” |

One of my friend made and sold Didgeridoos out of PVC. His trick was to take a blow torch to the outside of the pipe to give it a mottled, woodlike texture...they looked really good after he got done with them. And a little dental wax around the mouthpiece never hurt either.
