The Nonverbal Dictionary

I was reading a book on public relations and I wanted to find out more about nonverbal comunications.

For example, the book said that an unbuttoned coat while speaking comunicated comfort and that a palm up display showed honesty.

I went looking around on the net and found the "NONVERBAL DICTIONARY." Very interesting. I hope you enjoy it.

Don't forget that nonverbal communication is related to culture as well. For example, giving the "thumbs up" in the US is a good sign. But doing that in Australia means the same thing as the middle finger. Researchers say that "65%-99% of human communication is nonverbal." (Givens, 2001)
