Speech About File-Sharing Debate Due Friday; Any Sources/Info? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Okay, I have a Speech class for 4th period Friday, and I need to give a 3-5 minute presentation. I chose the whole arguement about the RIAA pressing charges against file-sharers, and anything related to that. If anyone could, it'd be greatly appreciated if you could give me a source to obtain some info that'd benefit my speech. If you can't, then just facts that you know are true will suffice, but it will help out my Works Cited that I have to turn in afterwards if you could get me a source to go along with it.

Some good info can be found at Electronic Frontier Foundation (an organization dedicated to Internet freedom)

Basically, that site contains some feasible solutions to the p2p problem, and probably other info as well.

Also, there was a thread over in Tilted Computing (near the top, I gotta go right now so I can't retrieve the exact link for you) about filesharing. If I remember correctly, it had some links there as well.

This is actually an easy topic to get yourself! You ARE a p2p sharer, you can speak your mind on it! If this wasn't for spanish class, speaking your mind would actually be the honorable thing to do!
