Remove oil stain

i was cookin something and i accidentally spilled quite a bit of cooking oil on one of my favorite WHITE shirts.

i tried washing it regularly, but it's got a yellow stain on that shows pretty well.

anyone know how to get rid of this?

I have successfully used those "oil stain removers" (funnily enough).

Another very good option would be to simply take it to a dry cleaners, but remember to point out the stain and staining substance to them.

They can most likely clean it up, for a small fee. But how much is your favourite white shirt worth to you? :)

I think if you've tossed it into the dryer already, it's set.

Then again, I'm a moron when it comes to laundry. Have you tried anything other than normal detergent?

no, i havnet tried anything else.

just the normal tide. and i'm thinkin dry cleaners.

hmm...oxy clean is good for this sort of thing
otherwize you could just use some varsol/laquer thinner...if it's just a white shirt it shouldn't get damaged by the mineral spirits
