Armadillas (sp?)
 

Tired of these pests digging up yard. The dog is scared of them, the cats stands their ground but the pests ignore them. Live in country and firepower availibility and usage is possible. Problem is, I can't catch the varmits in the act.

Just a word of caution. Don't touch; they carry leprosy.

get in your car. they'll jump under the wheels.

Look for them at night, especially after a rain. I keep a spotlight at my back door, and a 22 rifle behind it. They always have a burrow to sleep in, so if you can find it, use a live trap near the opening. You can use wire panels to "funnel" them into it. My grandpa at some point several years ago, had caught more than a hundred of em coming into his yard under a fence.
