Need. Photoshop. Help.
Hi Photoshop gurus, So I am making an artwork about this image that resembles a blue sky. When I was testing out a color of blue with a thick brush size, I briefly saw this image that looked to me a lot like a clear blue sky. I took a screenshot. I don't want that white to be there. I wanted to see if someone here could give me advice on how to fill in that white space so that it coheres (seamlessly) with movement of the blue in the photo? I dont know whether I should use the spot healing brush, gradient tool, or just photoshop an actual picture of the sky into there? Please feel free to download this image and mess with it and then post it again. Thank you for your help! |

You can't host a picture like that, you'll need to host it somewhere else. Incidently, posting it on Photoshopgurus.com (where you did originally, I'm guessing, based on the URL of your attempted image) will probably get you a more verbose response.
What version of photoshop do you have? If it is the current one, it sounds like Content Aware Fill is the solution to your woes. If you haven't gotten an answer by the time I get home, and you have figured out a way to host the image that works, I'll give it a shot.

Here's a (photobucke)t link to the whole image: bluesky.jpg picture by camsecret - Photobucket
I have CS2, so if you could do a content aware, that would be grand! |

If that's all you want, the best option is to do a circular gradient. Use your blue for your start color and a greyish blue or something for your finish color and experiment with how far you drag when making the gradient.
