in mathematical terms does this mean anything?

Its a quite obscure reference, but I just wanted to ask (as I am pretty ignorant about mathematics) - does the below actually mean anything other than Q = Q?

Q(Q><[Q]) = Q(Q><[Q])

(it is the Quantity Theory of Insanity)

if you turn your head sideways, what i see is a guy holding a boulder above his head. below him it looks like Cartman from South park is holding him up.

i guess the quantity theory of insanity was right

In Math, letters essentially mean nothing unless you assign value to them. You will realize, that the equation on both sides of the equal sign are the same. So yes, that simply means x=x or y=y or in your case Q=Q.
