blogs?
I have done a search and can't really find what I am looking for.
So I have done alot of "chatting online" with a whole lot of nothing to show for it. I would like to start a blog for a friend of mine. There is a friend that I have met, and he has some really good ideas locally for this city to become a better city. He just needs a way to put it out there. He also is using frontpage (take in mind that this man is about 65 years old.) He has good content, but needs to be fixed up a little and presented in a way that others can read it. so he has asked me to build his existing website into a blog. this is one of his websites. so be nice. it needs alot of cleaning up, and major overhaul to get his message across. thought_U_should Know so anyone know of a blog that is recommended to be cheap (if not free for now.) and where I can learn the basic stuff as far as making the page stand out and show up in google? I am uber new to this, as I made the decision last night to help this guy in any way I can. I met the guy. He is nice, he helps out others ALL the time. I take him out to eat and we talk about this stuff. He has a very big heart. but it is his words online that he needs help on. He would like to make a blog because he wants to interact online with anyone who has questions about what he means, or anything. since he knows that this is the "digital" age now. any help is appreciated. |

it's easy and simple to use and most importantly... free.

Well I just got back from his house and he showed me something that he got from Viawest company, that lets him "logon" via web browser and uses something called Cpanel.
it has "back up storage" FTP info. stuff like that. Would it be better to use that? it is provided through the company Viawest.com I just would like something that is easy. I just wouldnt know where to start with this viawest thing that he showed me. |

that's something very robust the cpanel and backend stuff. blogger works, is simple and easy. go register at blogger or wordpress and you'll be started as fast as you register for any site.

I agree, if I were to make a blog I'd go with a free convenient service such as blogger or Wordpress. No more headaches.
