Pulp Fiction Dance - is there a meaning

Hi

I've been googling like crazy and can't seem to find an answer to this question, so I know TFP can answer it.

In pulp fiction when Travolta is dancing he does that move with two fingers held apart and sweeping across his eyes.

Is there a particular meaning to this movement/symbol ? Does it mean anything in pop culture that I am unaware of ? Somewhat akin to the middle finger raised having a meaning in society, does this thing he does have a meaning ?

If so please enlighten me.

Thanks

it's just a dance move. nothing else. As far as I know.

I think it was called the "Batman Dance".
He does the move about 1:10 into the video.

You are referring, my friend, to "The Batusi".

Although, like most of Tarantino's stuff, it's mostly in there because he thought it was "cool". Pretty much his whole oeuvre is composed of stuff he thought was "cool".

LMFAO!
"I fooled you. I kept my reason by reciting the multiplication tables backwards!"

God, that show was a classic.

Well if there is no hidden deep meaning then that's cool too. Thanks.

Please speak up still if you know something else.

As far as I know, it was Travolta's idea to do the Batman (also known as the Batusi, yeah, I know). He had seen it on late night TV, and thought it looked badass. Tarantino is generally supposed to be very into the idea of letting his actors improv, if it makes the scene look badass.
