Nootropics, memory and focus problem.
I like telling people I have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) but I am basically an air head, you tell me something and it goes right outta the other ear. What I wonder is, do nootropics and cod liver oil and other forms of smart drug and amphetamines help? Because I have begun thinking I am a sleep stoner and I'm only 20 years old.
I started exercise but someone as unhealthy as me, it only gets me tired and not refreshed. |
I have taken Piracetam before. It's ... interesting ... but I couldn't tell you if it really made my memory any better or not. I tried it for about a month or so.
I felt really alive and focused while taking it. That's all I can tell you. My wife described me as "intense" during that time. I stopped taking it because I don't like maintenance drugs. I'd talk with a doctor about it. |
Burnout at 20? That's scary!
Exercise may help, but it sounds as though you're not very motivated to stick with it. One of my favorite quotes: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Keep that in mind and get up and do it. The first few times may exhaust you, but keep pushing and eventually you should hit adrenaline rush. Also, diet should be looked at. Too many carbs could be wearing you down. Try to keep things healthy. Drink lots of water. Shut the TV and computer for a while. If you think you may be depressed, go see your doc. There are so many possibilities, but if diet and exercise don't help within a couple of weeks or so, definitely seek professional help. |
Just try and list your time. Make yourself a compulsive list taker.
Or try these suggestions I made here: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showpos...3&postcount=19 |
Are you sleeping well? I'm pretty tired all the time, so I eventually went for a sleep study at the hospital. I was afraid that I had sleep apnea, but found that I am narcoleptic. I don't suddenly fall asleep at dinner face-planted in my spaghetti like in the movies, but I constantly doze off for a few seconds when I'm working on the computer, reading, or watching TV. There's nothing they can do about it except medicate with stimulants...which sucks when you really want to sleep.
If you are somewhat overweight and a bit out of shape...sleep apnea may be robbing you of some of your energy. Again, talk to your doc first before doing anything. |
Ottopilot, did you get your blood tested? I suggest you have your thyroid hormone levels checked at least.

It's just something you cope with... no biggie. It could be worse! |
Gosh, thanks man, about the piracatem. About masturbating, it only affects your brain as a state of mind. No side effects whatsoever except of course killing your imagination if you watch porn.
