How to sell baseball cards?
I used to collect baseball cards when I was a kid. I have boxes and books, and collectables... I remember nothing about baseball, and have no idea the worth of cards (if there is a worth anymore).
What would be the best approach to selling these cards? I probably have 30,000 cards, some still in original bubble gum packs, a couple full sets, etc.. Any ideas would be appreciated, as it would be great to get a few bucks out of them. |

eBay? You could at least browse there to see if they're selling what you're selling. Give you some ideas, anyway.

The full sets and packs should fetch more. Otherwise you could set it up like this: Group by brand and year, and just say it's a random selection of X number of cards, and then open it up to the auction. I think this is a practice on eBay. Try to find some examples of this to be sure.

I have a bunch of cards I'd like to get rid of as well, but I'd rather not sell them online, if possible, just because there're more things that could go wrong. Are there any other ways to sell them? I did look in the yellow pages under 'sports memorabilia' and 'collectibles' and didn't find anything.
