Got a prayer in mind?
I have to identify myself as agnostic with a decent background in Christianity and Buddhism, but neither really seem to fit. I don't like saying prayers from either because I frankly don't completely believe them. This poses a problem for a rather spiritual fellow like my self who, indeed, would like to say a prayer before heading off to bed. Well working with the full cooperation that google usually lends I found nothing along the lines of a nondenominational prayer that isn't just a joke. Does anyone have a link or perhaps a different way to this 'ritual' other than prayer or creed?
Much thanks. |

You can always come up with your own prayer. You don't say what your reason for wanting to do this is, but here are some general ideas: Say something that has meaning for you, and don't worry if it doesn't sound like the "official" prayers you've heard. It doesn't necessarily need to address a deity, either; it can simply be an affirmation of your spiritual beliefs or goals.
