Sending food internationally
OK, this is going to seem like a weird question, but...
I want to send some chocolate to South Africa (*looks in mandy's direction*). What's the best way to go about doing that and avoid having it melt on the way there? Would also be nice if it doesn't cost too much

I got a box of chocolate from Germany... best thing was good packaging, have the choclate surrounded by stuff so its not absorbing heath through the box. Not really so sure I can do anything about the melting part.
Mine made it from Frankfort to AZ in one piece and unmelted.

Oooh, you should send her a bag of mini Butterfingers and some full-size ones. I prefer the little ones--they're just the right size, somehow.

If it's packaged well (sealed tight) sometimes your recipient can whack it in the fridge to harden it up if its melted...
Alas, I do not think Rocher and her friend Creme Egg can make it.... but the Butterfingers probably could!
