Correct French pronunciation?

I am in disagreement with someone over the correct pronunciation of the following name from the play A Streetcar Named Desire.

................Belle Reve.................

If someone could help me out, that would be great.

Bell like the thing that rings
Rev like what a motorcycle engine does

But add a little gutteral roll to the R in "Reve".

If you heard a real live French person pronounce that, you might notice a very slight "uh" on the end of the word Reve, especially if the next word starts with a hard consonant.

Thank you for the info. Much appreciated.

Ca depend, mon ami!
It depends on which accent you employ. For instance, Ratbastid
has the Montreal area down perfectly. Go to the Gaspe, if has a
stronger fisherfolk corruption to it.
As for the French (France), it is smoother, with long drawn out
syllables.
Ratbastid has a standard version, though.
