Architecture measurements
Hey everyone!
I'm doing some architecture design and I'm trying to find the regular measurements for everything in contructing a house. for example: the width of windows, height of counters, height of the ceiling, etc.. just simple measures that are standard. Kinda how a door is usually 2m high. if theres a website with these, please help me out!

Architectual info
Architectual Graphics Standards. It's a book that architects use, and has been published for almost a century (I have a volume from 1933. But I have also seen newer ones. Gives you all kinds of neat info, windows, doors, driveway radii, turning radii for vehicles, walks, staircase rise/run, plumbing, septic tanks.
Not sure about a website. Do a search using the above as a search term. |

Here's the book:
http://www.amazon.com/Architectural-.../dp/0471348163 Here's a less expensive student edition: http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyT...471348171.html Since there are now at least 10 editions you can probably find an older copy in a library or used book store. You can even purchase copies of the one mentioned by mark1952 on-line for around $50!
