Wall Mounted AC
Hello,
I'm going to install a wall mounted air conditioner. I just thouhgt I'd ask for a few things to keep in mind. It seems simple enough. I'll be sure and have it tilt down outside :) No water dripping in my room thank you. : ) |
Make sure you secure it well. I've seen a few burglaries where they pushed in the AC unit and climbed right in.

Be sure to seal off the window/wall well. Otherwise flying critters will find their way into the house.

Also make sure the drain will have a clear area and check it regularly. Mine got clogged and the whole ac unit iced over. When my brother and I pulled the ac unit there was a bees nest in there!

Make sure to clean the filter every now and then. Who knew? :)
