Zipped File Downloads
Hi......
Many recommendations for the best website rippers for images and movies......... Can someone please tell me of a website ripper that will download all .zip and other archived files from a website? Preferably underneath the pass login area. I would like one that can easily be setup to download only archived files. Thanks, J |

Wget really is an awesome program once you read the material. Allows you to tweak almost every aspect, from page depth to file type. It has a learning curve though, read every help file that comes with it and you'll figure it out fast though. I don't think it works on pages that use PHP though, but I may be wrong.

However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-à-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V." - V |

Once upon a time you could find SuperBot 3.1 that could do exactly that. It was only a trial version that had a limit of 100 downloads per session, but no limit to the number of sessions, so it could be used indefinitely. Now there 4.0 trial version has an expiration date, and is no way as easy to use as the 3.1.
I currently use WinHTTrack. It does a good job. |
