DVD Recording.. is there a way to edit out commercials?
I currently use a DVD Recorder to record boxing matches, and other sporting events.
It is a Panasonic DMR-ES20 if anyone is intricately familiar with DVD recorders.. Anyway, I generally record programs via scheduling, and thus end up recording commercials. I'm curious if anyone is familiar with a way to eliminate commercials (or any other portions of recording) prior to finalizing the DVD, but after it has been recorded? If I watch a program live, I will eliminate commercials via pausing and resuming, but when I schedule a recording, it would be nice if I could remove commercials as well... I am just not sure if it's possible. Thanks.

only thing i can think of that even has a chance to do this would be using a computer with a dvd burner and some editing software to cut out the commercials after the orginal dvd is already made. but i dont think you can use the same dvd and do it all on a dvd recorder.
