Removing a rubber grommet from glass..
I can't figure it out. I've tried soapy water, mineral oil, what works?
Just a normal rubber grommet on a glass tube.. Help appreciated haha.

If you've no desire to reinstall said grommet, how about an X-acto knife to carefully cut the grommet and allow you to peel it off the glass, assuming it hasn't been affixed with something like a cyanoacrylate adhesive? If you suspect it has been glued, then finding the appropriate solvent is your next step.

Ah, yea, I forgot to add that part.. A knife would have worked money but I need to reapply it. Spit one in the end, I got it off, but am now in the process of reattaching it...
