Building a home sauna
Does anyone have any experience building a home sauna? I am doing some remodelling and thought this would be a nice addition. I am just looking for any tricks, tips or gotchas.

If you are furnishing it with wood, make sure to use special sauna wood; normal wood will sweat resin like mad once you heat the sauna up.

Consult the experts. Experience from another person isn't enough to tell you what you should be doing. They'll tell you the whole nine yards on saunas.

I've thought about doing the same thing. There are quite a few kits on the market that give you the right wood, heater, instructions, etc. I sure wouldn't try it from scratch unless i knew what I was doing.
