I do, too!! Apparently, this has been pretty popular...there are a lot of spoofs to this...but not one of them is as funny as the original....this is going to be my favorite for a while!!

Kel just puts it on his laptop and then goes about his business. We have Numa-Numa 24/7, yo. I sent it to my mother in Tennessee and she taught it to my 9-year-old neice. We are hard core, i a really nerdy sort of way.

Glad you all have liked! I hope everyone gets to see this...I can't get enough of how hilarious it is!
The thing that gives it real depth is the fact that his friends found this recording of him on his computer and put it on the internet...that just kills me...hahahhah!!

This is pretty funny... I'm wondering though, do you think the main reason it's funny is because it's something we all do, in private, in front of a mirror, and now we get to be on the other side of this kid's mirror watching something very private? Getting to participate with him in his joy away from the prying eyes of the world, perhaps is a better way to say it, and thereby relive our own joy from when we last did this in the bathroom (you know you've done something like this at least once).
Meh... maybe it's just a mistake to try to intellectualize humor at all. Thanks for the post.

It is pretty funny. They even showed it on VH1 about 2 months ago.
Newgrounds has the unedited version with subtitles translating the song lyrics and without pictures of his friends. Old as hell...by internet standards.

Don't tell me you all wouldn't do that same thing with that sweet song...you just wouldn't video tape it...
Edit: here's the link to the newground site, if anyone wants the original and doesn't want to search for 20 minutes like i did. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/206373

I downloaded the song in English...It's a really good song - even in Italian - but his facial expressions and actions during the song are what kill me. Has anyone checked out the spoofs other's have done? (I.E. their own "numa numa dance"'s) They are by no means nearly as funny, however, I think some may appreciate the original more because of these sad attempts...
Does anyone care to hear the English version? If so, let me know...I'll put it on and link to it.

I hate this song. Actually that's not really a fair comment. I hate being woken up to this song at 6 o'clock in the morning by a five year old pulling on my eyelids. |

The song itself, specifically the English lyrics, are awesome. I've been showing this to everyone I know. I can agree that being woken up at 6am to this song would not help enforce my love for this song. However, until that actually occurs, this song will hold my respect for my reason given in this very post.

This was hilarious, but after the laughing you just gotta admire this guy's uninhibited joy & spirit. And who here hasn't done something equally silly when we're alone with a favorite song booming out? I like Patti LaBelle's Lady Marmalade because I get to pretend I speak French, among other things...<G>.
