In a stream in in the forest a fish is watching a fly buzz around above the water.

The fish thinks "If that fly drops another six inches i'll be able to leap up and grab it!"

Meanwhile, on the bank of the stream there is a bear watching the fish watching the fly.

The bear thinks "If that fly drops another six inches, that fish is going to jump out of the water to get it, and then i can grab the fish!"

On the other side of the stream, a hunter is hiding in the bushes with crackers sticking out of his pocket, watching the bear watch the fish that's watching the fly.

The hunter thinks " If that fly drops another six inches, that fish is going to jump out of the water to grab it, then the bear will rear up to grab the fish and i can shoot the bear!"

Behind the hunter there are a couple of field mice who are eyeing the hunter's crackers, because the hunter is eyeing the bear that's watching the fish that's watching the fly.

The mice think "If that fly drops another six inches, that fish is going to jump out of the water to grab it, then the bear will rear up to grab the fish, the hunter will stand up to shoot the bear and the crackers will fall out!"

Meanwhile behind all of this, there is a cat, watching the mice, watching the hunter, watching the bear, watching the fish, watching the fly.

The cat thinks "If that fly drops another six inches, that fish is going to jump out of the water to grab it, then the bear will rear up to grab the fish, the hunter will stand up to shoot the bear and the crackers will fall out, the mice will run for the crackers, and i can catch the mice!"

So what happens?

The fly drops another six inches, the fish jumps to catch the fly and is caught by the bear, who is shot by the hunter, whose crackers fall out of his pocket, the mice run to the crackers and the cat runs after the mice, overshoots everything and lands in the stream.

Morale of the story?
If that fly drops another six inches the pussy's getting wet!!
