NYC in Webdings
Hopefully not a re-run, but I'm too lazy to search. Type NYC (must be all caps) in Microsoft Word Webdings font.

It is totally intentional and totally harmless... I can't see why it would even remotely offend anyone.
Probably put in there by the font designer as an inside joke. |
I don't know about yours, but the created date of the webdings font on my xp machine is 8-23-2001, so I lend it more towards coincedence =D

shoot, my bad, thought this was the font you typed in nyc and saw a plane, the twin towers then the skull and crossbones.
(can you tell I didn't try this before posting?) |
NYC in Wingdings gives a skull and crossbones, the Star of David, and a thumbs-up.
A little alarming, especially if the same guy who put the obvious NYC joke in Webdings made Wingdings. |
