A couple checks into a hotel room.
 

"What else can I do for you, sir?" asks the bellhop, trying to please a gentleman and a lady who just checked into their hotel room.
"Thank you, I don't need anything,” answers the man.
“May be your wife needs something?”
“Oh, good thinking! Bring me a post card, please”.

Nice, gave me a laugh.

Okay, good one. Had to re-read it, duh.

Took me a minute but funny.

You probably need to reword it to have the full effect. It's funny, as long as you fix it.

Don't change it! The best jokes are subtle, even though you had to think about it.

I got it right away and I thought it was great. Don't worry about changing it. It's fine the way it is.

I, also, had to think about it. Makes it all the funnier.
