20 Years of Marriage
One night, after almost 20 years of marriage, a wife wakes up to find her husband is not in bed. She goes searching through the house to try and find him. She finally finds him sitting at the table, sobbing over a cup of coffee. The following conversation takes place:
Wife: Honey, are you OK? Husband: Do you remember when we were dating? Wife: Yes. Husband: Do you remember the time we were in the car fooling around and your dad found us? Wife: Yes. Husband: Do you remember he held a shotgun to my head and told me if I didn't marry you he would send me to jail for 20 years? Wife: Yes. Husband: My 20 years would have been up today! |
