A guy washes up on a desert island...
 

He starts walking around, and the first thing he notices is that the sand on the beach is this dark red color. The sky is also dark red. He sees some dark red seagulls wheeling in the dark red sky. He comes across some dark red trees growing out of the dark red rocks. Suddenly he notices that his skin is starting to turn dark red too!

"Oh my god!" he cries, "I must be marooned!"

I enjoyed this joke so much that I called my brother today to tell it to him. After the punchline there was a slight chuckle, and then... "I hope that's not the only reason you called."
