An 85 year old lady is discussing her annual checkup with the Doctor and he tells her "Ethel, you are in great health for a woman your age...Are you having any problems with anything that you haven't told me about?"

Ethel replies "Well Doc, I am having a problem with farting...I fart all the time....but, its not so bad, because they are silent, and they don't stink at all.....for example, I farted at least 20 times in your waiting room....but they were silent and didn't stink."

The Doctor then proceeded to write her a prescription and told her to come back in 2 weeks after she had taken all the pills.

Two weeks later Ethel was talking to the Doctor again and he asked her how it went....?

Ethel told him that it had not gone well, as her farts NOW had a TERRIBLE odor and she didn't like that at all.....

To which the Doctor replied..."Well Ethyl, we seem to have fixed the Sinus Problem, now we had better do something about your HEARING!"
