A state trooper pulled over a fast convertible out in the middle of nowhere, with two smart-asses inside. Every request the trooper had for the two boys was answered with derision and sarcasm.

When the trooper'd finally had enough, he whacked the driver in the head with his nightstick and handed him his speeding ticket. Without saying a word, the trooper then walked around to the passenger side and whacked the passenger in the head with the nightstick.

The passenger whined, "What'd you hit me for?"

The trooper replied, "I was just answering your wish."

"What wish?"

"When you get five miles down the road from here and you turn to your buddy and say, 'I just wish he'd tried to hit me like that.' THAT wish."

LMAO....what's a nightstick? I thought they carried batons and guns?

That's Southern for "baton," I reckon. We have other names for them, but I'd be banished if I typed any of them.
