The worst are the questions that are almost all true, except a little tiny thing you may suspect is false, but you don't want to put false, because you suspect that the test writer meant it to be a true statement.

Anyway, I've never liked true/false questions. I much prefer the kind where you can BS your way through, hoping that if you write enough on the paper, the grader will feel sorry for you and give tons of partial credit

I remember reading this particular installation of C&H while in high school. the next time I had a pop quiz, before the teach started the questions, I asked if it was a T/F test. He said "Yes" to which I replied, "Then can I borrow a quarter?"

Yeah, he didn't like that very much, gave me a REALLY dirty look and then went about the test. I think I got 9 of 10 anyway.
