This just made my day...
So I step into the office today and I get an email from a co-worker:
The life of one of my sorry ass friends .......... Forward from him: Last night I'm hanging out with these two chicks at Protos (Denver restaurant) and start chatting them up. One of them gives me her "phone number" and says to call her. Call this number when you get a chance. 303-575-1696 You'll get a chuckle. Give it a call, it's too hilarious to miss out on!  |

A local radio show took this concept a step further. Every week a new cellphone number was listed as the rejection hotline , but instead of a smarmy message callers were just given a chance to leave a message which would then be played on the next mornings show.
It was fuckin hilarious. You would get guys calling 10 -15 times slowly getting more and more pissed off that no-one was calling back One poor dude was reduced to tears , he was waiting outside a department store in the rain for the chick who gave him the number . Nasty bitch. So he calls in about five times slowly getting more and more upset. Wonds up with him crying into the phone in the middle of the street in the rain about the connection he had felt and how much "what happened" meant to him... actually that was probably not all that funny really. Poor Guy. |

great! for those in another country, it was basically a rejection hotline where someone tells you, assuming you got this rejection number legitimately, bashing you and telling you how much of a loser you are.
they gave a link but i'm not sure if i can post it here safely, it has something to do with a 'www', a 'rejectionhotline', and a '.com', hope you can figure it out.

it's a free service, apparently, but you will only get charged for long distance or the phone company toll charges for calling it.
