Excuse me?
After a man answered a call that informed him that his wife had been in a car accident, he rushed to the hospital to see if she is all right.
When he arrived, he hurried to the nurse’s counter and begged for the condition of his wife. The nurse behind the counter said that she didn’t know, but she had just seen the doctor that dealt with her walk down the hallway to the left. After a quick search the man found the doctor and inquired after his wife. "I am sorry," the doctor said. "I did all I could for her, but I am afraid she is still going to be paralyzed from the neck down for the rest of her life." After hearing this, the man began to cry, yet the doctor went on. "From now on you are going to have to feed her, clothe her, help her go the bathroom, and more." This was all the man could take. He fell to his knees and began wailing at the top of his lungs. The doctor then became quite unnerved, and more than a little embarrassed, at all the attention they were receiving. "Calm down man," the doctor pleaded. "Calm down... I was only joking. She's dead." |
