Hi .... Have you ever been in your local Charity/Goodwill shop? You're browsing through CDs and DVDs, and you find 'promo' copies or 'not to be distributed to the public' copies? Well, I have. And, thinking about that, I just KNEW I had to share the following with you.

And I bet you've found other, better lost gems, and I'd appreciate your telling us



Here's my offering as we sit round the camp fire:

Remember Chronicles of Riddick? The very end .. Vin Deisel has Fought The Great Battles. At last, he is KING.

He is alone in a Great Hall.

The camera moves toward him: he is serious, heroic, looking into the distance. The camera moves closer - the lines and wrinkles of hardship and characer vie with his iron jaw muscles. The camera circles his noble profile - a tour of the Hero's head until we are behind him and looking over his shoulder ...















He is watching:
This ending is only available in the never-to-be released Directors Private Cut.


Also included is the earlier scene, where the deadly rays of the scorching Sun are about to fry his girlfriend, and he grabs a rope, and swings out from the side of the cliff, into the risky brightness, to save her ...

... and he is suddenly transported to land of OZ where he does a musical pooch-porn production number, "Nick Nack Paddy-Whack". Vin; Dorothy; Tinman; Lion; Straw man; and Toto who sure as hell ain't in Kansas but the opposite ain't true. Munchkins then join in "We love to go a-dogging", as the jolly group of chums skip off to visit the Knickered Bitch of the West.

... then Riddick finishes his swing, with the phrase "Dream On, Dawg!" and saves the girl.


Due to Vin's recent Terms-of-Contract legal battle, Riddickulous Chronicles won't make it to the Cinemas, nor will XXX3, and don't remind him of "The Farts and Furry Arse".

I saw a couple of book that were the revision version in which you can see spelling errors. But I never found movies.

Having those give more insight on the book/movie development, but it may not even be canon if it's part of a series.

Me either. I've found CD's like that in secondhand or consignment shops before that said something about "not for public release" on the label but I never bought them, maybe I missed out on something cool.
