Q: Looking for a comic about straws
I have this thing where I remove the straw from whatever alcoholic drink I'm given, in part to get to the drink faster but primarily because I hate to fight with the straw.
I saw a comic online once (and I thought it was on XKCD, but I couldn't find it there) that humorously explained that one can never fight with a straw and win, because it will always successfully embarrass you. It'll not be where you expect it to be. Any idea what comic this was? Sorry this is so vague but it's driving me nuts. |

For a perfectionist / completionist / (people-pleasing purveyor) like myself, I think, just in terms of how I operate, this might be an impossible request. I'll re-look-over the starting point (XKCD).
That said, I found a few for you to look over and see if it could be what you were talking about: http://www.thebookofbiff.com/comics/2007-06-06-0262.png http://www.legrandanimations.com/Straw.gif http://the4thcorner.net/realsuper/co...uper096web.jpg http://www.mywhiteboy.com/wp-content...y%20straws.jpg

What's "weird" to you (or me, too) is relative, as stuff I feature I just take notice the internet is cuckoo for; I'm not very good or efficient at it, but my main and only hobby is knowledge, (+ history!) and how I choose to take it down and learn more from it is solely by sharing it, thereby increasing the topical and/or trivial exposure of its aim.
(The intellectual topics of mine, which are in a queue of perpetual-stasis in my virtual sticky notepad, well, I just procrastinate in starting them up again, why, because I perceive myself as a failure - just like I failed in finding the "existential webcomic about straws and their place as human's ultimate foil".) - - - hmm. just stumbled across this (way to be topical, T: + coincidence monster rising) ... may be difficult to comprehend, as I just type what my mind spews. “Aim above morality. Be not simply good, be good for something.” — Henry David Thoreau

Yeah. Honestly, that one (le grand) was the one I had the highest percentage in thinking that it could, perhaps, be "the one" in which you were initially thinking about, maybe (had it around 8% possibility of being right, while the other three were around 1% or less, being what you were talking about).
