Omni (1978-1995)
August 1982 issue Omni, started by Kathy Keeton, had an Internet version lasting until 1998. This publication was devoted to more than just science fiction; it also included articles on science fact. Omni’s target audience was a little older than the high school crowd — someone who considered themselves a science enthusiast, although probably not a science professional. It also featured some of the newer era science fiction and fantasy writers such as William Gibson, Orson Scott Card, and George R. R. Martin.

The above poster doesn't strike me as being very "classic".. (as in retro-low-hi-brow illustrative, I mean; It has no vintage flavor.)

Very nice examples of Bolle's handiwork there, bobby.
inside the artist: Enoch Bolles Art-Deco pin-up master. Worked exclusively as a cover artist, painting oils for Film Fun, Screen Romances, Stolen Sweets, Gay Book, Judge, Titter, Cupid's Capers, Live Stories, Tattle Tales, Gay Parisienne, and the endless "Stories": Pep, Breezy, Snappy, Bedtime, Spicy. Excellent portraiturist, using the faces (and figures) of young starlets like Myrna Loy, Ida Lupino, etc. He liked to take his original pin-ups and add abstract touches.further examples of his work: Judge, "When Dreams May Come" (1923) Film Fun, "Make Way for the Siren!" (1934) Titter, "untitled" (1943)
