Having dealt with many LEOs in my career, including ATF anf FBI, I am fully willing to believe that this is an actual ATF agent. One of my customers, an ATF Special Agent (Justice "side" of the dept) has seen the pic also and believes it's genuine as well, although he personally believes it's an Agent from the Treasury "side" of the agency (aka Booger Eaters, Pencil Pushers, etc). Since he once witnessed a co-worker "draw down" on an armed bank robber (who was shooting at them at the time) with a Skoal (snuff) can*, I take him at his word.


*The Agent in question habitually kept his Skoal in one sock, and his backup weapon in the other. He reached for the wrong sock.
