I could use one of those for my energetic dogs.

Problem is, most dogs I've played fetch with won't QUITE bring back the ball. They'll bring it back NEAR me, but not actually TO me. Maybe they think that's part of the game... Anyway, I'm skeptical that any of those dogs would actually get clear on where the ball has to go to get it to shoot.

My dog is overly excited about fetching which is quite surprising since he was run over as a pup and his back legs are malformed. A good rule of thumb around my house is not to toss anything on the ground because the dog will pick it up and bring it back to you. It doesn't matter if it's a ball or a 6ft long iron pipe, if it leaves your hand, he's going to grab it and carry it around near you until you take it from him.
