Preacher visits the nursing home
A preacher visits the nursing home to see a elderly lady who had been a member of his congegation for years. As they visit the lady nods off from time to time and the preacher, not wanting to offend her waits for her to wake up to continue their conversation. During one of her resting periods, the preacher notices a bowl of peanuts on her nightstand and having missed lunch desides to help himself to some. Before he realizes it he has eaten all that was in the bowl. As the lady wakes up once again the preacher begins feeling bad about the peanuts and tells her, " Miss Jones while you were asleep, I was feeling awful hungry and I ate all of your peanuts. If you like I'll be glad to see if they have some more in the gift store." Miss Jones just smiles and tells the preacher "No thats okay, at my age all I can do is suck the chocolate off of them anyways."
