Wiki says that the first were on Game Boy and came out in September 1998. The thing is, in 1998, I was 15 years old. I was chasing tail (to use the colloquial term) and trying to get my drivers license. Had I been born a few years later, it's possible I could have gotten into it, but alas.

First and only one I played was Yellow on an emulator in...2001. One was enough for me.

I've never played Pokemon, but I sure as hell know what it is--I spend too much time around kids obsessed with it NOT to know. Plus, as someone who's into anime/manga, Pokemon is sort of like the gateway drug for that :lol:. Perhaps will just hasn't spent much time around kids obsessed with Pokemon.

And I'd seen this before. Pretty funny stuff!
