Don't these people ever learn?

It goes like this:

• pg. 1: moron tries to scam.
• pgs. 2-4: people catch on, moron defends self, pile-on ensues, moron gets banned, reappears, gets banned, reappears, etc.
• pgs. 3-10: discussions about finding his house, calling police, posting his personal info., etc.
• pgs. 11-65: everyone in the world chiming in from other forums and using as many euphemisms for being owned that could possibly be imagined along with references to the other forums where similar incidents have occurred, regular members talk about how famous their forum is now until bandwidth is exceeded. Discussions turn to locking thread.

That's my cynical take on it.

That is a truly great idea. An idea I believe whose time is come. I respectfully submit that we scam ourselves and become the greatest internet meme that the world has ever known!

(of course we'll have to hid this little thread away if anyone decides to take me seriously)

the whole thing is sort of anti-climactic currently, as the scammers have yet to be really caught (by the authorities). It is interesting to see it as it happens. It is close to my house too...

This is an old one I hope it's not a repost, possibly one of the more famous cases. Quite funny though the 1st 6 pages are the best. Truly Owned !

That's some crazy shit... everyone needs to be sure to "Digg" that story, though... seriously! Keep it bumped up so people can find out about it.

Reading that I kept thinking, "Man... 'I love Bees' anyone?" Not that this is a hoax, but.. .just like the reality based internet 'games'... all that mind power that is used to figure out the riddles... All of that put to use to down a scammer? That's seriously crazy.
