It's all an act. She's now getting more notoriety because of her "stupidity." Just play the dumb blond and watch the media generate your very own FREE P.R.

Wow! I think if I were female I be insulted to share a gender with her. But I don't think it's a gender thing at all, I've met several guys that were just as stupid. Hell I worked with a guy, sheriffs deputy, who argued with me one day that the moon was too a planet. And he had a college degree. All I can say is don't ever send you're kid to Washington State.

BTW- I'm betting she's had plenty of balls flying at or near her head.

Good question, and I haven't asked her.

From a casual sex perspective though it wouldn't matter, it would still be a no, she wouldn't be attracted to someone like that.

On the other side of the coin I wouldn't marry that woman (I think shes a singer) but I'd fuck her brains out, what little their might be.

I wouldn't have sex with her. Might have been able to, or unable to stop myself depending on how you look at it, when I was eighteen. At some point she's going to start talking and I'd have to leave, with or without my pants.

Honestly...
I think it's a reflection of a trend in our society: our current fixation with the media, and the need to fill it with charismatic beauties, allows beautiful people to survive with minimal know-how.

She didn't need a high school degree to look pretty on stage and sing. She did need to work hard and practice to attain any level of performance-level vocal prowess. She also needs to put more effort into her appearance than most studious, university-driven folk. One only has so many hours in a given day. She chose to use hers to sing, dance, put on makeup, etc.

As long as she can see to her basic needs without a lick of common knowledge, she will not bother to learn.

Would you want it any other way?
(I know I would)

I do believe it's possible she's acting more ditsy then she actually is. To what degree, I might debate. But all this talk of of failed educational systems reminds me of an e-mail someone recently sent me.

This is the eighth-grade final exam from 1895 in Salina , Kansas , USA It was taken from the original document on file at the Smokey Valley Genealogical Society and Library in Salina , and reprinted by the Salina Journal.

Well now I agree that the education system is failing and that this woman is a good example, I'm not sure that the test is particularly applicable to modern society.

The saying goes that in Greek times it was possible to learn everything known to man by the time you were eighteen.

The 'amount' of human knowledge has increased exponentially since 1895 and there is definitely a finite limit to the amount that you can teach in school.

I would not be displeased if students today are trading knowledge of this:

. Define verse, stanza and paragraph
. What are the following, and give examples of each: trigraph, subvocals, diphthong, cognate letters, linguals
. Write 10 words frequently mispronounced and indicate pronunciation by use of diacritical marks and by syllabication.
. A wagon box is 2 ft. deep, 10 feet long, and 3 ft. wide. How many bushels of wheat will it hold?

Into knowledge of 'how to use a computer', 'how to word process a document', 'how to spell check' and 'how to use a search engine.'
