Neologisms
Basically, take a word and give it a new meaning, but the the new meaning has to be related to the make-up of the word. The concept was regularly gone over on I'm sorry I haven't a clue, which is now defunct, sadly.
*weeps* So, the classic example: Vanish - A bit like a van. Behold, the workings of my mind....... Deliberate - Harassing a take away. Impede - JamaicanEnglish: The past act of a small man's urination. Behold - A transport container for bees. Contemplate - Induce lateness of a contract worker, by nefarious means. Penetrate - The pen that E.T. really likes. Scrutinize - Vernacular futurism, to make love to an android. Analyze - A person with a very strict view. Dispute - Modern veracular: This Computer. Hammer - Pig Farmer. Ambush - morning shrub (ver syn - wake up nookie). Precocious - Before they were arrogant. (pre-coci-ous) Antimony - communist in outlook Rummage - Booze wizardry Confirm - To steal from a business. Puppet - A minature baby dog. (Boooooooooooo, gerroff) Nothing - A stencilist, all out of slender g's. Pioneer - Location for baked savoury goods. Supreme - To remove the soup. Intellect - Likes to speak in public. President - Squeezing the passport of a treeman. Dominate - The cash Minnie scoffed. More! *cracks whip* (really simple. take a dictionary or an article, pick a multisyllabic word and let your imagination run riot over it)
