Rants from Real People
These are some questions or rants from just surfing around the web or blogs. Some are OK and some are kind of lame. However...you decide.
Real Life Rants (and other things that do not make sense) We rate restaurants with stars…….each star represents a mile we can actually get away from the restaurant, before we have to stop and evacuate our bowels from the pain! When you cannot pay a bill because you are broke, why do people think that you are sitting on a pile of money and holding out on them? And by insulting my financial despair will immediately make me go to the safe and shave off a sliver of gold from the pile of gold bars hiding in there? (ya, sorry…you got me) How can weathermen (or women) be sooooo wrong day after day and still have a job? Why do Airline seats become MORE expensive as the flight time becomes closer? Don’t they want to sell the ticket? That is one of the most obvious consumer “screwin’s” ever! How do you “pre-board” an airplane? You are either on the damn thing or you’re not I recently bought a bag of Dog Chow to find a coupon for two free music downloads. My dog cannot decide! He sits at the computer for hours surfing the 5 songs they let you choose from. Why do they make bars close at a certain time? Don’t they know if they allowed bars to stay open all night, it would spread the drunks out instead of throwing them all out at the same time? (ah…easier pickin’s from our boys in blue) I cut my grass every Saturday……and it grows back. (duh) My wife bought me St Johns Wort to help with my memory. I can’t remember to take it. Law makers in Wisconsin recently passed a bill (law), it will be illegal to point a toy gun at law enforcement. My 7 year old son looked sad in the back of the squad car. I mean, his 12 inch long M-16 looked real! And the sound effects….wow…very realistic. (grrrrr) Has anybody EVER been able to properly figure out their power bill? Lets see…..a KWH=.87 x peak usage x line charges + meter service x usage= FUCKED ( pretty much a mobster mentality if you ask me) Are we still to believe because a refinery in Allagoozaa, Nigeria is in maintenance shutdown; this justifies a 1.50 cost hike at the pumps in the Midwest of the US? (aarrrgggggggg) I think politicians go into closed chambers and laugh their fuckin asses off at us.
