The Search for an Xbox 360
I found this site, it appears to be user-driven like the gasbuddy.com websites. If you somehow spot a 360, submit the location to this site.

Why the rush... all I hear is that they are overheating and crashing... They will get better soon.
|
I never said I was searching for one ;)
|
Haha... sorry, misread the post...

Pretty hilarious. Thirty-six minutes ago an XBox 360 was spotted 85 miles from my house.
GIT IN THE CAR KIDS. |
On a side note, check out www.smashmyxbox.com
They raised money in donations then smashed it with a sledge in front of everyone. |
Oh, harsh. Harsh indeed.
Yet funny. I'm surprised they didn't get lynched. |
i would do it to help out those who actually want it to play or for a present
but prob most of the people using that site want to sell in on ebay :( edit: oops that site is for people that live in america |
have you heard about xbox 360 overheating and causing house fires? :p ....
I have a feeling PS3 will be the leading game system.... the 360 should have waited; they are hurting the whole microsoft company with all this core bs... note to Microsoft: 1 game system good, 2 game systems bad... :p oh, well... their loss  |
I really could care less about an XBOX 360, but those kids were...

With the stories about the search for the Xbox360 in the news, i just had to check out the auction sites. There are a lot of listings for Buy IT Now at the $850 range. Those that are open auctions and have bids at the $850 range are mostly marked "Reserve not met". One actually has a reserve of $34000.00>, but is for a charity. After New Years you will be able to find these at most stores so why would anyone pay these outrageous prices? The "Got to have it first" syndrome has once again kicked in. It's "Cabbage Patch" allover, again.
Merry Christmas to all, even those with empty wallets. |
That's what I don't get - the "gotta have it first" syndrome. I asked a buddy of mine why he had to get it first, he simply replied, "Oh, I don't know." Now he has a defective 360 sitting at home, and he can't exchange it yet since stores don't have any in stock to exchange for yet.
Rampant consumerism. With something like the 360, it makes me sick. |
