This guy never ceases to amuse me. I'm very surprised that he hasn't been locked up yet, or at least totally discounted by anyone with credibility. I wouldn't think anyone would want to tie their reputation to a guy like that, but apparently people still keep him around to scream in the news.

Good job to Tycho and Gabe for making this guy look like more of an asshat than he already is.

A guy I know contacted Jack Thompson and basically said that he didn't agree with what he was saying about videogames and movies. I think he also made fun of some of his public appearances. Jack Thompson CALLED the guy back personally and said "listen you little dipshit, I'm a lawyer, and I'm suing you" and that was basically it. :) The guy got the conversation down. It was really entertaining. :) This guy is a total nutcase.

It's a pity his legalese gets so many people to back off. Most of it is utter BS, the VGcats one in particular. Someone sue him!

New update on the Penny Arcade website -- a scan of the actual fax sent to Seattle PD as well as a photo of the check they wrote out to ESA, and an update on exactly why Jack Thompson should not be treated as a regular troll (i.e.: ignored until he goes away).

I read the VGcats bit. At some point he just begins to bicker. It's pathetic this guy has any bit of credibility. It would also unfortunate if one could be sued for negative editorial.

Fuck TV when you have this amusing asshat entertaing us instead!
