Getting my Ps2 onto my network...
Ok, so I have a network adapter for my PS2 now. Anyone know how to get the PS2 to identify on my network w/o using the start up disc provided? for some reason when i put that disc in, it just gives me a read error, every other disc ive ever put in there works just fine, just not this one. any help?
edit: just fyi, my router sees it there, the light where its plugged in will light up.

Old signature just wasn't doing it for me anymore, so now I have this new one. It's equally as stupid but at least it looks really long. I'm probably just going to keep typing until I run out of things to babble about and see how many people actually read this. I once ran down a hill, fell down and hurt my elbow; my mom said I would be ok, she kissed it and made it all better. I've run out of things to say now, so if you have read this whole thing, congratulations you get a gold star! |

Just because your router has a light on it signifying a connection, doesn't mean its compatilble. See if it is first.
(I hope that didn't sound demeaning or anything, I didn't mean for it to. Just a logical first step )
