NHL 2006 rant/questions (PC version) - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I downloaded this game so I can't really complain too much about not knowing how to do everything in the game...so with that being said I'm about halfway through a season already with the red wings when today i stumble upon my first shootout. The shootout is great because there's no annoying defensemen in your way to block shots or hook you off the puck. However, NHL2006 decided that in order to play the shootout YOU should be the goalie. Nowhere in-game have I found instructions on how to control the goalie in the game. you can see where this is problematic. There is also nowhere to my knowledge that you can change it to auto control of the goalie in shootout mode.

My other rant is about EA Free For All. I don't know how to change what goalie you face or if you even can. It doesn't seem likely, and if you can't...that's stupid.

so, if anyone cares to correct me on where to fix/address these issues, feel free.

I see you're from Detroit - stop by Macomb Mall and buy it at the video game store in there
