Is anyone else going to this? Has anyone else heard of it? I can't wait, I got my tickets for Nov 15th!! :D

This touring event will include a retrospective segment from the beginning of the video game era up to the present, several segments with game footage on three giant video screens, handheld cameras showing orchestra, and character close-ups. There will also be an interactive segment where selected audience members will actually play a game live onstage while the orchestra plays the music.

Sounds cool... I just find it funny that it's being held here at the Detroit Opera House.

Edit: Sounds like the Dear Friends: Music from Final Fantasy concert, except bumped up with lasers and more game footage.

I've heard of it. I remember when they came through last year hearing commercials for it on the radio. I'd like to go, but not sure if I'll make it or not. They are coming through my town on a Monday night.

It looks pretty cool though.

Yeah the only downside is that it's on a Monday night here. Someone needs to make a better schedule :-P

Not sure if anyone knows/cares, but the REST of the shows have been CANCELLED except for the Seattle and Vanvouver shows.

Well, many concerts are scheduled on the weekdays. Doesn't seem to stop most concert go-ers.

Yeah, damn I got the letter last week about the cancellation. Fuckers :(
