played it a while back. i only got the demo...i owned the previous version, Override. I always loved the game play and the replayability...but eventually i got tired of the money grind. The story lines were nice...but never gave enough cash to play straight through...i'd have to stop, money grind for a while, and then go back abd buy weapons and stuff. i recall getting stuck with a great ship, and being five missles short of winning the fire fight to get out...had to quit the game and start fresh.

I think EV:O was the pinnacle of the series. Nova was flashier, but it messed with a few gameplay mechanics a bit which kinda upset the balance. In override, the Voinian ships were just hulking beasts, while the aliens were quick and nimble. With Nova, there's a lot of similarity but not much character. Plus, it doesn't have Femme Fatale
