I'm just curious to know what everyone else here thinks about the new Nintendo Controller (Forgive me if someone already posted about it, but I had a look through the recent posts and I couldn't find it anywhere :S)

For those of you who have been living under a rock Here are a few pictures from IGN:

The first time I saw it I was quite disappointed with Nintendo... it looks like a remote control (and VG cats said it looked like a sex toy... and it scarily does o_o) but - I've started to warm to the idea of it after reading up a lot about it.

Instead of controlling the character, you'd actually BE the character (if you get what I mean). For instance, with the Zelda games, you press the B button and Link would take a swipe of his sword - but with this new controller, you could swoosh it in the air, and Link would take a swipe in the direction (maybe) that you've slashed the controller.

I think it would be awkward to use for the old retro games though personally :\ I'm a bit skeptical with that...
But I can actually see the Revolution actually revolutionising the way we play viedo games. Well, I'm hoping so (mainly because if this flops, Nintendo are in BIG trouble).
